About me

I've always been curious. At the age of 17, my curiosity led me to journalism school. I found myself passionate about interviewing people and writing about their stories. I speak three languages, so I have more opportunities now (people trust us more with their stories when we speak their languages).

It was the newsroom experience that contributed to a smooth transition to corporate communications. I've been successful for knowing how to build rapport, ask the right questions, connect with journalists, work with deadlines and translate complex topics into plain language. In 15+ years in internal and external communications, I've collaborated with many teams to develop strategies, identify stories, revamp publications, drive engagement and create content aligned to the organization's goals.

My work on the Board of Directors of IABC/BC has been recognized by IABC International with a Chapter Management Award for engaging students. I've also earned three IABC/BC awards for other projects. On the portfolio section, you'll find some details.

During the pandemic, I spent a lot of time on Instagram doing live chats about anti-racism, which helped me start looking at everything around me with an anti-racism lens. When I'm not working, I'm most likely doing something related to music: singing with my choir, rehearsing for performances, playing guitar or watching live concerts. Some of my favourite shows in 2023 were Earth Wind & Fire, Lauryn Hill and Coldplay.

ERIN DRISCOLL

Change management &

employee engagement consultant

I had the pleasure of working with Glauce on the IABC/BC board when she stepped into a Director role on short notice to fill a vacancy. She is efficient, wise and detail-oriented. She managed her resources well and motivated her team to great outcomes.

Glauce supported our IT team at Douglas College as our main communicator. She interviewed, wrote, and edited multimedia material for our portal and public website. She's an experienced writer and editor with high standards and work ethic.

JEANETTE LEBLANC
Storyteller and
content management strategist

In my role as President of IABC/BC 2017-18, Glauce joined our board. She is a passionate team member and caring leader. She is dedicated to the organizations she is a part of, and that is evident in the care she places in her decisions, questions, and work.
